 Atho is one of the famous Burmese food in beach station. If you cross the beach station subway in the evening time you will see lots of street vendors selling atho in a particular street. This recipe needs a hand effort to mix all ingredients in the right proportion to get the exact taste of it. This recipe will be apt for those who love noodles but thinking of trying a new recipe out of it. Usually, kids will be excited when they hear noodles, Mom's were refused to give them noodles because it is made out of maida. To address this issue I have made this atho recipe out of wheat.

Navaratri is celebrated for 9 days, so i will post prasadam recipes for 9 days .Today I have come up with Green peas or Pachai pattani recipe which is used for Neivedyam for god and then distributed as prasadam for people. This Green peas or Pachai pattani recipe can be given as a school snack for kids. Ingredients: Green peas/Pachai pattani - 1 cup (240ml) Salt - As required Water-2 cup (240ml) mustard &urad dal -1/4 tsp dry red chilly-1 hinge powder-1/4tsp red chilly powder-1 tsp  grated coconut -1/4 cup,  peeled grated raw mango -1/4 cup, lemon juice-2 tsp crushed curry leaves -10 nos Step1: Soak a dried green peas for 8 hours in plain water. If you don't have a time soak this peas in hot water for 2 hrs Step2: In a pot add water  as shown in the image for 1 cup of "Green peas", add Salt-1tsp,soaked "green peas" and cook  Step3: It will take 15-20  mins or you can pressure cook it for 1 whistle then keep the flame low and cook it for 5mins    ...
